How Falcomm, Inc. collects and uses information from visitors to faicomm.com.

1. Introduction

Falcomm, Inc. ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates faicomm.com (the "Site"), a product information website for our GaN-on-SiC RF power amplifier product line. This Privacy Policy describes what personal information we collect through the Site, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have with respect to it. It applies to information collected through the Site and through direct communications with us by email, phone, or contact form.

Falcomm, Inc. is a Baltimore-based hardware company selling RF semiconductor components -- specifically high-efficiency power amplifiers for satellite and 5G phased-array applications -- to engineering teams at hardware manufacturers and system integrators. The Site is not directed to consumers and does not collect consumer health, financial, or behavioral tracking data. The information we collect is strictly what a professional visitor submits to request product documentation or evaluation samples.

We are located at 1100 Wicomico Street, Suite 320, Baltimore, MD 21201 and can be reached at [email protected] or +1 (410) 554-0196.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

We collect information you submit directly when you use the Site, including:

  • Contact details -- name, business email address, and phone number -- submitted through our datasheet request form or general contact form;
  • Professional information you choose to share: your company name, role (such as RF design engineer or system architect), and the Falcomm product or application you are evaluating;
  • Technical context -- frequency band of interest, application type (satellite, 5G, defense), quantity required -- relevant to determining which product documentation or evaluation kit applies to your project;
  • The content of messages you send us through the contact form or by direct email.

We also operate a password-protected customer portal (accessible at login.html) through which qualified engineers can download full datasheets and SPICE models. For portal accounts, we additionally collect your chosen username, a hashed password, and a record of which documents you have accessed.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit faicomm.com, our web server and analytics tools automatically collect limited technical information:

  • IP address and approximate location at the city or region level;
  • Browser type, operating system, and device class;
  • Pages visited, referring URLs, and time on page;
  • Cookie and similar identifiers (see Section 5 and our Cookie Policy).

This data is used solely to keep the Site operating reliably and to understand aggregate traffic patterns. We do not use it to build individual behavioral profiles or to target advertising.

2.3 Export-Control Notice

Falcomm products are RF semiconductor devices that may be subject to applicable US export control laws and regulations. When you request a datasheet or evaluation sample, we may ask for your country of end use and end-user affiliation to assess applicable requirements. Any information collected for export-control screening purposes is handled with appropriate confidentiality and used only for that purpose.

2.4 We Do Not Knowingly Collect Children's Data

The Site is a B2B technical resource directed at engineers and procurement professionals. It is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to datasheet requests, evaluation sample requests, and general technical inquiries about the FA-2400 product series;
  • Provision and maintain access to the customer portal and its gated technical documentation;
  • Fulfill evaluation kit orders and communicate with you during the engineering evaluation process;
  • Send technical updates about the FA-2400 product line, new product announcements, or application notes -- where you have provided your email for that purpose, or where we have a legitimate interest based on your prior inquiry;
  • Operate, secure, and improve the Site;
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, unauthorized portal access, or abuse;
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations, including export-control screening requirements.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use personal information for behavioral advertising or cross-site tracking.

4. Sharing of Information

We share personal information only in the following circumstances:

  • With service providers acting on our behalf -- such as web hosting providers, email delivery services, and analytics tools -- under contractual terms that restrict their use of your data to providing us those services;
  • With government authorities or law enforcement, where required by applicable law or where disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, its employees, or others;
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, subject to the acquirer adopting privacy practices at least as protective as this Policy;
  • Where export-control or customs regulations require disclosure to government agencies as part of an authorized transaction.

We do not sell personal information to third parties for their own marketing or data-monetization purposes.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember session state for the customer portal, and measure aggregate usage. We do not use advertising or cross-site behavioral tracking cookies. For full details and opt-out options, see our Cookie Policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law. Specifically:

  • Datasheet request and contact form records are retained for up to 36 months from submission, reflecting the typical engineering evaluation and procurement cycle for RF semiconductor components;
  • Customer portal account records are retained for the life of the account plus 12 months after the last login;
  • Marketing communication preferences and email lists are reviewed annually; inactive contacts who have not engaged in 24 months are removed;
  • Server access logs are retained for 90 days, then aggregated anonymously.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the personal information we hold. These include TLS encryption for data in transit, access controls and authentication for the customer portal, restricted-access databases, and least-privilege access for Company personnel. No security measure is perfect; we cannot guarantee absolute protection against all threats. In the event of a data breach affecting your rights, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

8. Your General Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights with respect to your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or delete data we hold about you, and the right to opt out of certain uses. To exercise any right, email [email protected] with a description of your request. We will verify your identity and respond within the time required by applicable law.

9. Maryland Residents

9.3 Sector-Specific Rights

If you are protected by federal sector laws (such as HIPAA, GLBA, or FERPA), those laws may give you additional rights with respect to data covered by them.

If you are a California resident, you may also exercise the rights granted under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") and California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA"), including the right to know, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right to opt out of sale or sharing. The Company does not sell personal information and does not "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To submit a CCPA/CPRA request, email [email protected] with the subject line "California Privacy Request."
